Can I pay mortgage in another state that I plan on moving to while living in another state?

I already know that I am not going to live in Eastman forever and I have been preparing for NC for awhile and I want to invest in something long-term for me and my family. So would this be a good idea.

If you decide that the selected city or town will do, great. If not, keep looking. If you can swing it, I'd rather see you visit these areas you are considering before committing to buying.
