Hi, My exhusband and I purchased a house in Georgia. I was awarded the house through a divorce. It reads that all interest in the property should be transfer to me, but my exhusband do not want to transfer the deed to my name. can I do a quitclaim deed with out him.
Tanks,
Liz.

Hi Guest!

Welcome to forums!

You won't be able to transfer the property in your name without your husband's signature. As the divorce states that you own the property, your husband is legally bound to sign the property deed. If he doesn't do so, you can take legal actions against him.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
