I am in georgia but I want to transfer a property to my brother in detroit. The home is paid for what do I need to do? Where do I get a quit claim deed from?

Welcome to forums!

If the property is located in Detroit, then you would require a quitclaim deed form of Detroit and sign it to transfer the property to your brother. You can contact the county recorder's office to get a quitclaim deed or you can contact an attorney and get the deed drafted from him.

You can do quit claim deed

You need to notarize it and record it in the county

I think from internet you can download quitclaim deed form.

you need to sign quit claim deed as grantor & mention your brother's name as grantee. it needs to be notarized in detroit's clerk office

As Sunny has suggested, you can contact an attorney and ask him to draft a quitclaim deed in order to transfer the property to you. If you do not want to consult an attorney, then you can check out the sample quitclaim deed forms from the given page:
