Hi taylorpickard,
USDA 502 guaranteed mortgages are good financing options as they do not require you to put down payments. You can use the funds to build, repair or renovate a house. You are also not required to pay mortgage insurance premiums which will save you some money every month. I think finding a lender who would offer you a USDA loan, will not be a problem as long as you qualify for it.
There are quite a number of lenders in this community who offer various types of loans including USDA, in Georgia. You may seek a no obligation free mortgage quote from them. They will assess your financial situation, credit scores etc. If you meet the qualifying criteria, they will offer you free mortgage quotes. If they offer you a loan at good rate and terms, you can go for the loan. Else, you always have the option to look for some other local lenders. |
