I have a customer who is looking to add his son to the mortgage deed; what steps will need to be taken with the county recorder?

Thanks,
Rob

Hi Rtames,

Welcome to forums.

You mean adding your son to the mortgage deed or to the title of the property on which there is a mortgage? from your post, what I understand is you're trying to add your son to the deed. So, what you need to do is, get the deed drafted by an attorney or you may look out for a deed from the web but see that it is approved by your state (for this reason, it's better to get it reviewed by an attorney).

Know more on what steps to record the deed and make it valid.

Thanks
