We started the process the end of last month like the 30th or so and applied for the loan about the 3rd or so of November. Are closing date is scheduled for the 27th of this month and we still did not find anything out. We asked our loan officer and he said everything looks good...The bank sent over their appraiser and the house appraised more then what we agreed on. We also are putting down 20%.But we still did not here anything about the approval. Guess im just getting a little anxious.

Don't be surprised if it gets delayed. Ask for a copy of the commitment letter.

it's natural to be anxious. it's also epidemic that lenders can't seem to get out of their own way to get a commitment letter done. loans take longer these days to get approved, and that's annoying.

just keep on your loan officer so you will be kept in the loop. it would be reasonable, i think, to expect your answer soon, frankly.
