I filed bk in 2003 and things were going well then I had my son and stopped working. Some things ended up on my credit again and I have paid them but now I have paid charge offs after a bk. Can I still get a home loan. These paid charges offs are 1.5 years old and my bk is almost 7 years old.

you can qualify provided you are meeting qualification criteria such as credit score, Debt to income ration, down payment etc

thanks. We have met all the other criteria. Now they want a letter of explanation for the paid items after bk.
