when did the bk proceedings start?
how long you were in repayment?
are you self employed?
how much downpayment you have?
and yes you can get a loan but the terms will depend on these questions among others

Hello.

Wait a bit and improve your credit score. To get better rates you should have above 680 credit score. If you can pay higher interest rates then you can go for the mortgage now.

If you have no credit issues since bk filing and you can document 2 years of income you can most likely get a loan. An FHA loan would likely get you the best rates but FHA loans have loan size limitations.
As far as anything more specific I would need to know full situation before I could quote you something or tell you what you qualify for.
You can always contact a lender you trust in your area as well.

OP Congratulations on getting through the BK. You do not need a 680 score with FHA you can get a loan now with as little as 3% down. If you hurry you may be able to take advantage of the seler assisted down payment program but the deadline is running 9/30 unless something changes.

Good Lu
