My lender told me that it takes over 1 1/2 weeks fora payment to be posted and considerd 'received'. If the payment is received in the processing center on or before the end of the 15 day grace period but isn't processed or logged for a week or more, is it legally considered late and is a late fee justified?

it ought to be processed the same day it's received. i receive things when i receive them. lenders ought to do the same thing.
