Can I get a mortgage

I have a 3 year employment history, a 3 month old credit card and a Sprint account since MAY 2008. I had a phone under my friend's account for 2 years, I have money saved.

My credit shows no credit and no score. I found a house to buy. Can I get a mortgage? This email's through my aunt's email account

fha loans are always an excellent alternative when someone lacks credit. it's worth investigating. you may have a while to wait, however; as you'd generally have to document a rental history as well as some other alternative credit references (auto insurance, any other utilities you may have had in your name). you mentioned the phone - was this strictly under another person's name? if so, it won't be of much benefit to you.

given your slight credit history at this time, you may need to wait a while as you continue to build.
