No all lenders will ask you if your employed or not and if your not it will be near impossible to get a loan im sorry.

Hello Everybody on this forum. Very Happy

Yes, mostly lenders will not ask you for you employed of unemployed & few things related to get loan with your employable. but they will ask you for your annual income. You must have sufficient income to get loan & you have to maintain your fico score to get loan.

But your employment will help you to approve your loan faster. Lender never saw your employment but they mostly giving attention on your annual income to give loan.

More people is still unemployed by today's market condition. This is very serious this for our country.

Thank you so much.

Daniel Corral.

Very Happy

Hi,

There are hardly any lenders who offer loans to unemployed people in this present market condition. The borrower needs to have at least 2 years stable employment history in order to qualify for a loan. No lender would want to take the risk by offering money to someone who does not have a stable job and income to be able to afford the mortgage payments.

Thanks,

Jerry

i have seen too many references to "hardly any" and mostly lenders" and "near impossible" and "may be possible not to jump in and add my incredulity at the responses along with that of johnnyloans.

how in the world can any of you make statements like that? please, people - let's be realistic.

If you are unemployed but can show some other source of income, probbaly that may help you to get a loan

But everyones situation is differnt and will be determined when you call some lebders

Good luck and feel free to ask
