Does everyone get a truth in lending disclosure? Will they send you that package even if you aren't going to be approved? I just received mine from wels fargo. I understand it is not a contract or an approval. But I am curious if thats a good thing that I was sent that...or is that just something everyone gets??

Hi,

The lenders are required by law to send you truth in lending disclosure documents, if you've applied for a mortgage. It does not mean you've been approved for the loan. This is something that everyone, who has applied for a mortgage, gets from the lender. You can still be denied for the mortgage, if you do not fulfill the required eligibility criteria.
