gmakerley Community Mentor Joined: 09 Nov 2007 Posts: 12346 Location: bloomfield, ct 53.01 Dollars($)	Posted: Wed Nov 18, 2009 9:24 pm    Post subject: Like 0 Dislike 0 you answered your own question: they review it. it's not the usda itself that is looking over your application; it is an underwriter who's delegated to approve loans for usda products. the underwriter checks to make sure that you meet all the guidelines of approval, and that the loan is structured correctly, also per guidelines. the appraisal and other documents are reviewed and accepted or rejected. that's pretty much it. _________________ George M.
