My husband and I sold our house because we were buying a house, using a USDA loan that we were pre-approved for. Now we are homeless and being told that the USDA ran out of money. Does anyone know if they are going to put more funds into the USDA home loan program? If they are, do you know when?

As of today there are no updates on the official website of USDA regarding its reconstruction.We are not sure whether the new money will be pumped in at all or not?

There is a provision attached to a bill to get this through and it will be discussed in the Senate today, Monday. Watch CSPAN at 3 PM to see progress. Here's hoping.

Today on CSPAN it was said a vote would occur on Thursday. I think they'll push this through.
