I live in a home, with my sister, I'm on the deed not the mortgage. We have lived in the home for only a month. My credit card bills are massive ( approx. 30k) and I only bring home 35k per year

You should contact a bankruptcy attorney and discuss your situation with him. He will check whether or not you can qualify the means test. If you qualify the means test, you'll be able to file bankruptcy. Thanks
