I have property in TN and I live in IL. I recived the property through a Quitclaim deed last year. Nothing is owed on the property and mobile home. (leins ect..) I would like to sell the property. Can I sell it without going through a real estate agent? Can I just sign the deed over to the new owner after reciving payment?

Hi GinaMarie!

Welcome to forums!

You can definitely sign over the deed to a new owner after receiving the payment from him/her. You may avoid using a real estate agent. However, while transferring the deed to the new owner, make sure that you draft the deed from a lawyer so that you do not have to face any kind of issues later on.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
