Hello all! I live in Indiana and I am purchasing my home on contract. I will be paying it off in March and I was wondering what all I need to have the home transferred into my name? Would a quitclaim deed suffice? Or do I need additional documentation or paperwork? I just want to make sure that I don't pay all of the money and end up with nada, as I'm sure everyone can understand. Thank you all for your help!

Hi alexkharden,

If there are no other liens on the property, then you can ask the seller to sign a warranty deed in order to transfer the property to you.
