My mother had a Living trust with me as the Trustee, and a will. In the will, the real estate was willed to the trust. Her name as well as my father's is on the Deed, he died two years ago and she died last month.

If I also have a Quit Claim Deed from her putting the house into the Trust do I need to get a new deed now, or can they close on the sale and get a new deed for the new owners at that time?

Welcome Guest,

I would suggest you to contact an attorney and take his opinion in this regard. As far as I can understand, if there is a will, then you'll have to probate that. Once the probate is complete, the property will be transferred in your name.
