Changing Grantees of Enhanced Life Estate Deed in TX

Posted on: 04th Feb, 2014 12:19 pm
Hello!
I have an Enhanced Life Estate Deed (Texas) for my deceased mother's house which was left to me and my 2 brothers. They say they do not want any of the money resulting in the sale of the house since I was her caregiver for 7 years and that I should have full ownership. Are there any forms they can complete that will turn their share over to me before the house is sold?
Thanks!
You should be able to have a quit claim filed by each of them - this will relinquish their interest to you - it will need to be notarized and recorded.

Good luck
