| how soon does a mortgage appear on the credit report? does it happen immediately after closing or it takes a month or so? |

Xmljar it won't happen immediately but you will see it listed within a months time. |

Welcome back Xmljar,
The mortgage appears on the credit report as soon as you start paying off for the loan at regular intervals. It does not happen immediately after closing.
