how soon does a mortgage appear on the credit report? does it happen immediately after closing or it takes a month or so?

Xmljar it won't happen immediately but you will see it listed within a months time.

Welcome back Xmljar, The mortgage appears on the credit report as soon as you start paying off for the loan at regular intervals. It does not happen immediately after closing. Thanks, James.
