Hi, I'm Robert with Academy Mortgage Corporation and we are a true Mortgage Banker not a Mortgage Broker (middle-man). We are the bank, we are the lender so you'll be dealing directly with us and not some go-between entity. No one can beat us, we get the best rates, have the lowest fees, typically get 0 out of pocket at closing, and get your mortgage funded faster.
When we give you a GFE, you can depend on it's accuracy. We don't give you a misleading GFE that's simply designed to get your business and try to sell you explanations on why it all changed when you get to closing time. We don't do business that way, we're accurate and let you know it's accurate... anything else you get elsewhere is only less due to hiding or not disclosing what they should on your GFE.
* We're a full service lender for all mortgage loan types in most States
Imagine that, letting you choose what you want on your mortgage instead of settling for the one option most brokers will give you. It's just one more advantage of working with a Mortgage Banker.

I was going to tone it down on the banker-to-broker generalizations I made, I was only drawing distinctions because a lot of people don't know what the real differences are between the two, so I made it easy to understand.
So, I apologize if my post rubbed you the wrong way. I would edit it to be 'broker-friendly' but I can't since my post has been replied to per forum settings.

Hi everyone,
I'm Glenn, I'm new here and I am just FLOODED with all the info lying around. Personally, I've just been to figure out what's happening these days because while it's easy to find all the probable causes of our problems, I don't know where it's going.
Hope to get to hear more from you guys. I'll be seeing you around. _________________ Glenn Torres - Just Trying to Make Sense of it All
