Hi
I need to know why did my mortgage payment went up this year even though My Tax and home insurance are down this year.
The mortgage company said I was short in escrow
how can that be?
I always made my payment on time, never missed or was late on any payment.
Also, Is there such a thing as gov baillout? I tried to get help from my Mrtg company last year with no success.
Thanks

Hi eldivo,

You should ask the mortgage lender to provide you with written clarification regarding shortage in escrow account. If the lender cannot provide you with proper clarification, then you won't have to pay higher amount as mortgage payments.

As far as government bailout is concerned, in what regards do you need that?

Thanks
