My husband and I have been married for 12 years. Recently a question was raised as to how our credit Union would handle our mortgage if he pass's? My name is not on the house, Im not employed and with very poor credit history the will leaves the house to me but I wonder how this would work out for me?

After your husband's death, you will be liable for paying off the mortgage. If you're unable to refinance the mortgage and pay off the dues on time, the lender will simply foreclose the property in order to recover his balance payments.
