I just discharged a chapter 7.I am at 5.87 on a 30year fixed and still need payment lower to afford the bills.Do you think I can get help with a modification?
if you have discharged from chapter 7 just now and if still you are lagging behind your payments then it will be really difficult to refinance your existing 30 yrs mortgage .it seems difficult. :arrow:
It doesn't cost anything to try for a modification.
If you can document a real hardship even after the BK you may have a chance.
