I love the information that your website provides. It is indeed helpful in sorting out my mortgage related problems and coming to a decision. Though i would deeply appreciate it if you beef up your Mortgage Termiology section and add more topics to it.
I need to know more about Debt Consolidation Loans, and would be glad if you could put up a comprehensive post for it on your website.

help me to find out from my situation. I'm 63 on pension and early SS retirement. Ilost my job and was laid off. I have my house for which I have to pay $1800 for mortgage. I couldn't pay such amount, found tenants who pay me $1200. My pension&early retirement amount is $1050 plus other expenses. I could not afford it and temporary left States. What should I do? Please help me.

Hi Lucy,

Why don't you go for a loan modification? Have you informed your lender about the financial hardships you are facing due to the lay off? I think you should talk with the loss mitigation dept. and also send them a hardship letter stating your financial difficulties in recent times so they consider modifying your loan to lower your monthly payments.
