Hi,
If your nannie had made a will, then as is normally done, she must have selected a personal representative to distribute the property as per the will. And that person will act accordingly and let all the concerned relatives and persons named in the will know about the details of the will.
Otherwise if there was no will made, then the probate court will distribute the property. |

Hi,
You can have a look at this page, on this page you will get an idea of what happens if your nannie didn't make a will at the time of her death.
The probate court will then appoint a person known as an administrator to complete all the necessary steps involved with the division of the property.
