Hi,

There are courses on offer by various private institutions and associations which are related with banking sector.

One such example is the Bank Administration Institute, which is an affiliate of the American Banker's Association, which offers certificate courses.

Thanks

Hi Doug,

Bank Administration Institute has a program for people who review and approve loans known as the Loan Review Certificate Program which Nelson had mentioned.

This certificate program helps to enhance the quality of reviews by loan officers.

Hi,

Let me add that for a new loan processor the training material might include,

1.Fundamentals of Loan Processing
2.Understanding FHA Loans
3.Understanding VA Loans
4.Qualifying the Self-Employed Borrower

Hi Doug,

We do have some information on the duties and responsibilities of a loan officer. You can check it out here.

Thanks,

Caron.
