| this company has taken 90.00 dollars out of my account so far. after reading some of the letters that some have experience with this company, im worried that they will do the same to me. itook out a 300.00 dollar payday loan with them and they withdrawn the 90.00 dollar fee but they did not withdraw the loan amount. please tell me what to do at this point |

Hello Mary,
I think you have all the documents with you. If they are drawing more money apart from what it was written in the agreement, you should consult an attorney and lodge a complaint against them. If you are cautious from the beginning, then I suppose, you might not have to face the problem. |

| I was messing around on my computer last week, applying for loans and stuff. But i thiught i had not completed any applications thoroughly enough to get money deposited into my checking acct. guess what? I called my bank today and i had $300.00 credited to my acct. I am afraid. don't know when or how I am supposed to pay it back. all i hear is negative things asbout this company. EVERYBODY BE AWARE!!!DON'T MESS AROUND WITH LENDING COMPANIES ON THE INTERNET. THEY ARE NOT THE EASIEST COMPANY TO GET AHOLD OF. |

Where did you apply for loans? is that with geneva Roth? I guess you did the right thing by not depositing the money. But hey, not all online companeis are bad. There are lenders out there who provide good services with an online presence. So, just chill, don't be afraid and go ahead with an online lender only after you've checked out it's reliability.

I just spoke w/ someone in customer service. How it works is this.... You take an advance payday loan of $300. What Geneva Roth is going to do is, they're gonna keep on taking $90 off your bank account every payday "FOREVER" (that's what the rep. told me) until you notify them 4 days before due date that you want to pay the loan you made in full which will total up to $390 ($300 that you borrowed + $90 fee). I didn't know about this rule that they have until I noticed that they've been taking $90 off my bank account for the past 6 months. So for those of you who are wondering why Geneva Roth keeps taking money off your account.... it's because you haven't notified them that you want to pay the amount you borrowed in full. My only suggestion is to call and have them send you a form that you need to fill out letting them know that you want to pay the loan in full. Otherwise, Geneva Roth is going to keep on taking $90 off your bank account every payday "FOREVER".... |

Well Pixie, thanks a lot for providing us with such information. It's very important for those who have dealings with Geneva Roth. The only way to avoid such harassment by the company is to pay the loan in full and prior to that send the creditor/lender a notification that you're prepared to pay off the loan in full asap.
Tess, I really don't know what type of information you were looking for but even then if you feel that the details have helped you take the right step then that's it.
