yes, Tamaica, you should call up the representative again. There's a lot of complaints against this company and this is enough to indicate that there are some problems going on with this company.

ive been in separate parts of the country from my husband for half the year{military}, once we got back together i found out that the money that kept coming out of my account wasnt him being irresponsible i called my bank ho then informed me that the company had taken over 12 debits from my account for $90 each. i then called the grc company who proceeded to tell me that they would continue taking the money out forver or until i paid $390 in one shot, just so you know the name on the account they have isnt ours and does not match the name on our bank account. im currently in the process of researching several different companies that are routinely taking money out of my account.

Hi Jocelyn,

Welcome to the forums.

I hope you're talking about Geneva Roth Cap. Well, I'm simply tired of hearing about their illegal withdrawal fo funds. I mean can't someone take any action against them? How can they that they'll take out money until and unelss you pay them when you haven't taken any loan from them. Also, what's the certainty that they'll leave your account even after getting the payment from you.

I feel you should contact the FTC or the State Attorney General's office and file complaints. At the same time, you may take legal advice from an attorney.

You may use the FTC complaint form given at https://rn.ftc.gov/pls/dod/wsolcq$.startup .

Thanks,
Jerry

I had a loan with Geneva Roth and I closed my checking account and opened a new checking account with a different bank. Geneva Roth found my new checking account. I never gave them the name of the bank, routing number or the checking account. I contacted my bank and told them that I never authorized the charge or even told them my new account number. How do I get my money back or how do I go about this?

Hi Kelbel,

Welcome to the forum.

This is really strange the companies like Geneva Roth find other people's checking accounts and making scams. Are they taking out money from your checking account?
You should then file complaints to the Attorney General's office in your state.

Best of luck,
Larry

Hi Larry,

Yes they are taking it out of my checking account. Can they take money out of a checking account even if you didnt give them information regarding your new account? What kind of thing is this? I am so confused on it all and how i should go about it.

Hello Kelbel,

It appears that Geneva Roth can take out money from your checking account even if you have not provided them with any information about that.

Did you pay off your loan completely?

It will be better if you talk to Geneva Roth directly. You may talk to the bank and see if they agree to provide overdraft protection to your account. You may also put up a complaint with BBB.

Hi Jenkin7,

No I didnt completely pay off my loan. I was in the middle of working with them.

I did talk to Geneva Roth and they said that they found my new checking info and withdrew the money. They also told me that its in the contract which I had asked to have email to me. Which they havent done yet.

They do have overdraft proctection at my bank which they paid for the transaction plus they gave me an overdraft.

Ok. I will put a complaint with BBB.

Its just really frustrating cause I was starting to get my life back on track and I was almost done with getting it back on track. Now I have to start all over again.

Geneva Roth in fact does not have the correct documentation to take money out of your account. They just did it to me 4 years after closing my account with them. I am currently filing a compliant with the FTC, BBB, and Attorney General's Office...If this happens to you please do file a compliant. They need to have a class action suit filed against them so we can put them out of business.

Welcome Lori,

May be some extra charges or fees have been added to the loan. But the company should have made you aware of this. Or may be they are doing it purposely. There are so many people saying such things about them. They say they're into illegal activities and the like.
