I recently filed chapter 13 and found out that my divorce attorney never filed the deed. I don't know what to do to get my name off this home. Mboyd, no need to panic. Since you have filed Chapter 13 bankruptcy, there is less chance of your losing the home. This is because you will be making the debt payments using a payment plan approved by the court and your bankruptcy trustee.

After it is recorded the house ownership will get transferred in your ex-husband's name.
