I don't think you can buy a studio with a home loan. |

Hi Kakrananil,
A home loan/mortgage cannot be used for purchasing a studio. Mortgage can be used for purchase or refinance of a residential property or it will fall under the category of commercial mortgage.

Hi,
you seems thinking to use a home loan in a business. I think it is not possible for an immigrant or anybody to do such deal.

Yes!!
My brother and his wife lived here for 3 years. he had a H4 and she had a H1 and they were able to buy a house, a car, etc. Normal life! As long as you are here legally and have the financial resources.
