I have land property in Michigan that is owned with 3 other people, joint tenancy co-ownership. I would like to add ownership of my son to this property without removing my name from the deed. Can this be done with a quitclaim deed? can I sign as the grantor for my interest in the property or does it need to be signed by myself and the 3 other owners?

Hi michsam!

Welcome to forums!

You can add your son to the property deed with the help of a quitclaim deed. As far as I know, you'll have to take the permission and signatures of other 3 members in order to add your son to the deed.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
