I am a nurse in Boston, MA working for 2 jobs (full time) making $2200-3000 gross per week. I have $100,000 in the bank right now that I would use completely for my down payment. Credit score in 700s; do not owe any money to anyone at all. I pay rent 1350 per month + utilities. How much (approximately) can I get applying for a mortgage? I have a wife and two under 2 years of age children.
Hi markian_z,

As you have a good credit score and stable income, I don't think you will face any problem in getting the loan. Value of the property is important when you try to get a mortgage. Once you decide on the property which you want to buy, you can then speak to the lender and come to know about the amount you can receive as loan.

Thanks

you have a good score as well as good amount so that you can put it as down payment, surely it will help you to find a good deal as cash in hand has a good bargaining power as compared to the borrowed money.

you will surely get a good deal.

but keep some 20 K with you; balance 80K you can use for down payment.
