A due on sales clause is mainly associated with transaction of personal property. It is rarely enforced on homes.

I think the best way to avoid a lien being placed on your home is to pay it off by yourself.

Hi,

The bill of sale is the document to prove the title and ownership to the property. But if there is a lien on the property, it has to be paid off. There is no other way out of it.
