ken 513 Guest	Posted: Tue May 10, 2011 5:01 pm    Post subject: chase assumption Like 0 Dislike 0 Both of my parents are deceased, the family home was and is in there name no will I, have a document from court stateing I'm the heir, the loan is with chase, they want me to fax them that document from court the loan no. my dads name and property address, will I have to qualify to be put on the loan. Then you need to refinance the existing mortgage in your name. In order to get a refinance, you need to qualify for it. You should have a good credit score, income as well as debt to income ratio. As far as the insurance is concerned, you need to contact the insurance company and sort out the matter. Thanks
