They will give you a check to buy their house, which was moved because of road construction. In return you will write them a check in the same amount. How does this work?

Hi hrtm,

I did not understand why the seller should give you a check in order to buy their house. If you want to buy the house, you should offer the amount to the seller in form of a check.

Thanks
