Hi timellis,

It will be completely your discretion whether or not you will contact a third party to make arrangements to either rent or turn over the property with compensation.

Thanks

Fannie Mae recently started a program where sometimes the person who owns the foreclosed property and stilll lives in it, can continue to live there and pay rent to do so.

In some cases, people can not come up with the many thousands of $ needed to bring the mortgage current, but, they may now have the ability to pay rent and continue to live in the property.
That may or may not be what the letter is addressing.

Call and find out.
