My parents deceased and also my 5 sisters and myself. I lived in house and i have paid off mtg and are paying taxes i want deed in my name. Now what? Michael Banks

Hi Guest,

If the property is in the name of your parents and if there is no will, then you and your sisters will be considered as the heirs to the property. All of you can file an affidavit of heirship at the county recorder's office and transfer the property in your names. Then, your sisters can transfer the property to you by signing a warranty deed.
