i have a sell date of june 13th does this provide me enough

had short sale offer, bank rejected wanted counter offer. only have till june 13 before foreclosed . how do i go about doing deed in lieu

Have you consulted with the bank and why have they rejected the short sale? See bank may not always agree with deed in lieu of foreclosure. You can request them to accept it. They can avoid you to hang you on the phone but it is your need and you will have to try again and again until they accept it.

Welcome to the forum.

Contact with your lender ASAP. There are so many ways to avoid foreclosure. If he has rejected short sale then request him for a repayment plans. If not then request him for Deed in lieu of foreclosure.

It seems that the lender has already set up the date of auction. BTW you can even file bankruptcy chapter 13 to avoid the foreclosure. In chapter 13 you can pay off the mortgage with an affordable repayment plan.

So you need to consult with a BK attorney for it.
