Is it legally effective if you do it yourself? I live out of state. I would like to partition a force of sale within 90 days. My sister can live back at her own house.

Hi sjmcandrews,

You will have to file a partition lawsuit at the court and the court will decide whether or not the property will be sold off. If the court gives the judgment in your favor, then the property will be sold off.

Thanks
