Hi, I am looking for a loan for my investor who is a foreigner. He is prepared to put in 40-50% DP but he does not have a SS nor a verifiable income in the US.

Any ideas on which Banks still offer this type of loan ? Wachovia stopped offering this product last Fri.

Thank you,

James

The forign investors should have a valid passport and a US bank account to get the loan. With 40 to 50 persent downpayment, he should be able to obtain the loan. So you should shop for lenders.

Hello- I'm a broker in NH/ Mass. I'm pretty sure that Emigrant Mortgage will do that- but it is a wholesale lender and you need a broker to arrange this and take your loan application. If you let me know where the property is, I could help your or refer you to someone who could look into it for you. Thanks,
Ken L.
