My wife signed an interspousal transfer deed when we bought our house back in 2006. We are now going thru a divorce. The loan and deed is in my name only. The house is upside down! Do I need her signature on any paperwork to short sale the house?

Thank you in advance!
Lar Confused

Hi lar,

As your wife had already signed an inter-spousal transfer deed, you won't require her signatures anymore in order to sell off the property. You should contact your lender and apply for a short sale.
