So I bought a mobile in Nov of 06, i never changed the title because i was told it wasn't necessary. now the previous owners are angry because the county is coming after them for back taxes for the past four years. How do i change ownership?

Hi Guest,

You will have to ask the old owner to sign a quitclaim deed and transfer the property to you. This will make you the owner of the property and you will be liable for paying taxes.

Thanks,

Jerry
