Kat Guest	Posted: Wed Feb 02, 2011 3:04 pm    Post subject: motgage after DIL Like 0 Dislike 0 It has been a yr since my Deed in Lieu, I am interested in buying a home, but The DIL is like a foreclosure and no one will give a mortgage, since only a yr. I have accumulated a substantial amount of cash since the loss, and wonder isn't someone out there willing to give me a Loan. And by the way my past lender told me to skip a payment to get deed of lieu since I had no late or missed payments until then. Frustrasted..... _________________ Need help choosing the right loan? It is true that immediately after a deed in lieu of foreclosure, you won't be able to qualify for a mortgage. You will have to wait for 3-4 years in order to qualify for a loan.
