my aunt and i bought a house together im married but seperated for 20 yrs and my aunt is single. i made made them aware of my married status and we proceeded. now seven days after closing the lender wants my husband to sign the mortgage and rehabilition rider. they wont record the deed until he does. he refuses to sign, can they do this? we cant get a permit to put a roof on the house until they record the deed. what can we do? and what can they do?
