Hi, I am a 24 yr old mother. My daughter\'s birthday was coming up and I didn\'t have the money to give or get her what she needed, so I respond to one of those loan company online. I got 200.00 deposit into my account within 24 hrs. They have draft 159.95 and 3 days later took out 60.00 more. What am I supposed to do when my account is in the negative now because I wasn\'t given enough time to put anything back into yet. COULD YOU GUYS PLEASE HELP ME PLEASE???????????????????????

You need to check out if payday loans/cash advance is illegal in your state or not as in many states pdls are illegal. If you find that pdls are illegal in your state then you should file a complaint with banking or state consumer protection department in your state. This office will be located in your financial institutions department or in your attorney general's office.

Let me also tell you that even if pdls are legal in your state you can file complaint with the authorities as it has been investigated by state agencies in many states that pdl lenders violate even the soft payday loan laws. So it is highly likely that your lender is in violation of the laws.

Generally what I know is that you are required to payback the amount in 2 weeks time. They cannot take out money within 3 days. You should file complaint with the authorities.

Hi Tasty,

Was there anything written in the loan document regarding the time period of repayment? If the term has not crossed, then you have the right to complain against this loan company. And, for now you should immediately deposit some amount in your account.

BTW, which state are you living in? Then, I can tell you if such loan operation is legal in your state or not.

Did you contact them about it? and what did they say?

You need to get clear why they did that and threaten them of legal action. Many of these pdl companies are going business illegally and would be talking clearly if threatened of legal action.
