My mother quit claimed me her house. But mortgage and mortgage insurance still in her name. I'm owner but she still has INS and mortgage in her name. I had an accidental flood in my house while at work. Just want to no if aim covered under home owners INS do to it's still in her name.

Hi Dpmcg,

If the home owner's insurance mentions your name, then you will be able to claim the insurance for the property. You should contact your insurance agent and check out whose name is mentioned on the insurance documents.
