we reified and on the deed i was the only one on deed. who can we quit deed if we still owe money. if it can be done dose this make me not respectable for money still owed. we live in Ca. been married for 18 we both make the same amount on the child. we also own a condo. how does this work and would a quit deed work for me

Welcome kelsnice,

You can use a quitclaim deed to transfer the property to someone else. However, this will not release you from the mortgage unless the new owner of the property refinances the loan. So, after you transfer the property to someone else, make sure that the person refinances the loan in his/her name.
