---------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------
One thing I wanted to know is that since we used our Social Security numbers when we purchase the house but our credit has gone down the drain due to the mortgage payments being high and also there was a deficiency with the taxes and the mortgage payments now are up to $3400 a month plus all the problems we have had, I wanted to know if we could use our EIN# instead of our social security# in an application for refinancing ( We did this previously and were able to purchase a car without any money down only using our trade in and got a goood interest rate on the loan and now we are restablishing a better credit history under the EIN#. I know this can be done if you want to restablis your credit by using the EIN#. Pls advise if we can do this with the application for refinancing. Thanks |

Hi Mollienhuber,
You cannot refinance against your home under your business EIN #. Already you have started a topic earlier and there are lots of suggestions to you. Please refer this: http://www.mortgagefit.com/refinance/business-ein.html
Thanks |

Hi Mollienhuber,
It seems that you've already asked a similar question earlier. Some of the community members, including me have replied to you. Please refer to the previous discussion as pointed by helping user. |

EIN cannot be used to get qualified for refinance. You will be required to use your SSN.
Did any lender tell you that such a thing would be possible?

"I wanted to know if we could use our EIN# instead of our social security# in an application for refinancing"
What you are talking about it considered as mortgage fraud. |

| I don't think there's any place that could do such a refi with an EIN number unless you look on craigslist lol. It is my understanding that your social security number is always used for these purposes. |

No you cannot. The only property you can buy as a company is commercial property such as office space but in order to do that you would have to be a large established company and you would have to provide last 2 years taxes showing profit and ut down a sizable downpayment. And then it would be considered that our company would buy the huse from you. _________________ Eugene Volovik
