my wife wants to be taken off of title.how do i go about doing this. what are my best options.should she just sign
a quit claim deed or do i need to refinance .if i refinance in my name only who would get house if something were to happen to me.if i were to refinance with no money taken out what is the average cost. thanks for your help

If she is on the mortgage loan then you will want to refinance to take her off of this. If not, you and her can simply sign a quit claim deed to remove her name from the title. You can contact a title company for them to prepare this for you. If you need to refinance, a mortgage company can coordinate this with the title company to have it done at the same time that you close on the loan.
